Scotland/England '22: Day 1

Well the last time we traveled to the UK (or anywhere else for that matter), the UK was still part of the European Union. That was December of 2019, 2 1/2 years ago and before Brexit became a reality. So much has happened in the world since then it feels foreign to be traveling again. While we were in the air on our 9 1/2 hour flight, Boris Johnson resigned and another chapter of crazy world affairs is set in motion. But here we are in the UK, looking forward to seeing Sarah’s 2 year delayed graduation ceremony from the University of Edinburgh, and to tasting some fine whisky in Scotland.

And now after a long days travel, it’s time for sleep.
