OPEN STUDIOS ART TOUR 2025

Thanks so much for those of you that stopped by during Open Studios 2025. We had a great time participating in this event for the first time. It was a great opportunity for us to meet some new neighbors and we met so many lovely people that came by over the 2 weekends

Bonus: We have room to make more pottery now too! So see you next year!

POTTERY

Ceramics isn't something I've been doing all my life. So, I can have the fun of sharing this journey as I go. It feels like something I might be doing for the duration, but how long will this obsession continue? Just how good can you get at something that takes a lifetime to master, when you start late?

It is a fascinating experience to find a creative interest crossroad with my lovely Yvette. Since our first pottery classes, it's been all in on a creative activity that we are both fairly obsessed with. Luckily we like to make different things. Yvette makes Bowls and Plates, and I make Vases, Mugs and more recently, Teapots. At least for now!

POTTERY BLOG

It's an amazing craft in so many ways, and so so much to learn on the way. Over time, I'll try and add some pottery related blog posts.

THE MUGS

Mugs are the best! My favorite functional form to be enjoyed every morning, afternoon, and evening. I think I'm just getting started on these. So many shapes, sizes and glazing options to try out. Send me a message and I'll make you one.

WOODWORK

Not in the obsession category, but it's still fun to make things from a natural material like wood. Lately, the woodshop has been used to make things for the other creative efforts: Wooden tools for throwing pottery, frames for photography, furniture to hold photo printers, and of course, shop furniture!
