THE BIG PACK • ABBA
PACKING FOR OXFORD
Sorry, not too many photos today. We spent most of the day just helping Sarah with her packing for Oxford. After 3 years in London, she's collected a lot of stuff, especially since she has been finding older furniture and doing some refinishing. She's really lucky to have had a large room and can leave a bit of the furniture behind for the year while she's away. She also has been able to store a small amount of boxes with friends. Still, the pile of stuff looks modestly large considering the size of her colleg housing is a little unclear. Fingers crossed.
ABBA VOYAGE
And tonight's entertainment? Virtual ABBA. If you haven't heard about this thing, the ABBA Voyage experience is in a permenant theater and uses some crazy good technology to recreate a live concert. The atmosphere is just like an actual concert, with T-Shirts, concessions, etc. There is a large standing area in front of the stage and some boxes groups can get to dance away during the show. No spoilers, but it's pretty slick, even if you're not a huge ABBA fan. Also, no photography allowed, so no photos during the show. They were pretty adament about this, so just a couple pre-show shots for you:
