2026:Italy & England: DAY 1 - Taking Off

We’re off to Europe today and looking forward to visiting with old college friends in Italy and then seeing Sarah and more Premiere League matches in England. I’ll try to step up my blog & photography game on this trip, and I’m packing extremely light: 3 weeks in a European sized carry on bag! It should be interesting for sure but as of today the weather looks manageable from pretty warm in Italy to potentially cool and rainy in England.

There should be some good opportunities for Jimi on the Road. That t-shirt is well over 25 years old now, and only comes out of the dresser drawer to go on the road, the last time in the Galapagos last spring.

It's been a while since the last travel blog entries (early 2025 in Patagonia). The Wix app for iPad is pretty crappy and gets even worse when the internet connection is sketchy. I didn’t even bother in the Galapagos earlier this year, but maybe I’ll write some catch up posts for that trip and post them later on.
